Pushing Kodak Portra 400 and Portra 800 Film

The Portra series of film from Kodak is by far our most popular film in store, due to their soft colours as well as their latitude. You hear a lot about how they overexpose quite well, but not how they underexpose. Considering most days are grey these days and it gets dark sooner, I decided to try shooting Portra 400 and Portra 800 both at 1600 and have The Lab push them in development. I used the Nikon FM10 for the Portra 400 and Canon A-1 for the Portra 800 and shot them both in various settings and conditions. As you can see, they both did quite well but there certainly is more noticeable grain and less contrast.
