It lets you shape light with minimal effort and works for both flat fronts and protruded heads. The RFi Softbox Octa is the optimal softbox to use together with the Zoom Rod S. Attach the Zoom Rod S to the softbox and use it both with and without a diffuser to create the exact look you want. With a diffuser, you will gain a more even light source, removing the hotspot without losing power. Without a diffuser, it will increase the light output and generate specular reflections.
In addition, the Zoom Rod S is also compatible with all heat-resistant Profoto softboxes and the Profoto Soft Zoom Reflectors.
