One side is middle gray, which is perfect for taking a reflective meter reading to ensure that your tonal values fall into the correct range. The other side is white for setting a custom white balance. The accuracy of these values is very important for critical work. This flexible check card is constructed from a special polymer and has an anti-reflection coating on both sides.
