The Manfrotto U-Hook set has many purposes. Designed to be used with a couple Manfrotto 035 Superclamps to hold up a crossbar, they are now commonly called J-hooks and used to hold a strobe pack to a lighting stand in replace of a sandbag. The hex stud assures the hook will not twist when used with a superclamp.
