| Beau Photo Supplies is proud to present Fusion 2013 - the third annual trade show of gear and techniques for the DSLR videographer: camera rigs, recording devices, camera stabilizers, lighting and grip equipment will all be featured in this one event. There is also a great lineup of speakers booked; Kirk Neff, Nick Didlick, Kharen Hill and Life Studios will share their insight and experience with you and provide inspiration for your DSLR work.
This year's event will kick off with a special presentation by Ian Ruhter on Friday April 12th at the Hyatt Regency Hotel on Burrard St. from 7:00pm until 9:00pm. The main trade show and speaker series will take place at the Hyatt Regency on Saturday April 13th beginning at 8:30am. Focusing on the continually growing DSLR video market, we will be bringing together industry leaders and showcasing cutting edge products that help photographers and videographers create compelling work more efficiently.
This is also the same weekend as the Canadian Imaging Conference presented by the Professional Photographers of Canada. You can attend both great events at the same location. PPOC members receive 20% off Fusion 2013 seminars! Tickets for Ian Ruhter's Monday evening talk at this conference are available through Beau Photo by calling us or filling out the ticket reservation form here. Ian will discuss his Silver and Light project, the risks he took, the inspiration he follows, his passion and creative process and what it feels like to follow a dream and see it succeed. The project tells many stories both in print (metal plates) and the videos that offer compelling insight into peoples’ lives, fears and success. Ian will share these aspects of himself and Silver and Light during his talk.
*It is not necessary to register for the full conference to attend this talk.
At the trade show, see the latest in DSLR video gear from some of the industry's leading suppliers including Canon, Nikon, Panasonic, Profoto and more. This is a chance to talk to the experts about new equipment, or find out how to solve a specific issue you've been struggling with. Check the trades page for a list of vendors.
Fusion 2013 will appeal to the photographer who is transitioning from DSLR stills to DSLR video as well as those videographers who are already established and want to achieve better results, see the hottest new gear and hear about the latest industry trends.
