Nikon D3S - New!

New from Nikon is the D3S. It is an incremental upgrade from the D3, offering all the goodness that was the D3 but adding 720P video capabilities, similar to the D300S upgrade, but also adding a completely new image sensor. Boasting a maximum ISO of an astonishing 102,400 (yes, over one hundred thousand!), this camera now sets the bar for low-light / high-ISO shooting - ISO 12,800 has proven to be very useable, even for larger prints! The camera is still in extremely short supply and not only do we not yet have one for rentals, I have so far only had a very brief opportunity of shooting with one myself. Hopefully as we ease into 2010, this amazing new body will become easier to come by...
